On Friday, Sauk won their first match of the tournament with a 4 set win against Columbus State (#7 DIII). Scores were 25-20, 25-9, 24-26 & 25-14.

The Skyhawks played 3 matches on Saturday. In their first match, they won in straight sets against St. Louis CC by scores of 25-11, 25-15 & 25-17. Leaders were Bailey O'Brien with 10 kills, Sommer Rhea with 9 kills and 12 digs, Gwen Lohr-Fandel with 6 kills and 17 digs; Mackenzie Skoumal with 5 kills; Tori Smoode with 5 kill blocks; Kacey Koch with 15 assists and Paige Conner with 11 assists.

In their next match, Sauk won in straight sets against Frontier CC by scores of 25-17, 25-15 & 25-14. Sauk ended the tournament with a 4 set loss to #7 Lincoln Land by scores of 14-25, 31-33, 25-22 & 23-25.
