Peoria for two matches today, and came away with 1 loss and 1 win.In their first match of the day, the Skyhawks lost in straight sets for the first time this season to Fort Scott (KS) by scores of 18-25, 22-25 & 27-29. Leaders were Sommer Rhea with 12 kills and 16 digs; Bailey O'Brien with 10 kills and 12 digs; Gwen Lohr-Fandel with 4 kills and 15 digs; Mackenzie Skoumal with 4 kill blocks:and Paige Conner with 19 assists and 9 digs.
Sauk finished the day with a straight set win over Southwestern Illinois by scores of 25-19, 25-22 & 25-19. Leaders were Bailey O'Brien with 12 kills and 11 digs; Sommer Rhea with 8 kills and 18 digs; Tori Smoode with 4 kills and 2 kill Blocks; Kacey Koch with 14 assists and 12 digs; and Paige Conner with 12 assists.
The Skyhawks are now 26-5 overall, and are next in action at Highland on Tuesday.
