Sauk Valley was in Kankakee on Saturday for two Region 4 matches against Olive-Harvey and Kankakee.Sauk won both matches in straight sets. Against Olive-Harvey by scores of 25-2, 25-5 & 25-4; and against Kankakee by scores of 25-10, 25-15 & 25-19.
Leaders on the day for the Skyhawks were:
Macie Good with 21 kills; Baylee Tillman with 12 kills; Hannah Wilson with 8 kills and 6.5 kill blocks; Kassidee Church with 8 kills and 4.5 kill blocks; Aubree Schmitt with 8 kills; Jaida Dean with 7 kills; Olivia Pilgrim with 19 digs; Emily Shrimplin with 35 assists and Paige Conner with 17 assists.
The Skyhawks are now 12-13 overall, and travel to Moline to play Black Hawk on Tuesday.
