This is the perfect place to begin. Learn the right way to
decorate cakes step by step. You will understand how to
bake a great cake as well as learn how to make, color and
use icing. Learn to create drop flowers, rosettes, shells,
pompom flowers, leaves, shaggy mums, and the Wilton
ribbon rose.

Flowers and Cake Design

Course II)
You will explore sophisticated ways to bring your cakes
and desserts to life. You will learn to create icing flowers
such as pansies, lilies, violets, daffodils, and the Wilton
rose using royal icing and gum paste. Learn how to ar-
range them on a cake top and frame them with an impres-
sive border treatment or basket weave design. With the
skills you have learned here and your ability to create
flowers in advance using gum paste, fondant, and royal ic-
ing, you can create beautiful blooms at your convenience.

Gum Paste and Fondant

Course III)
In this course you will discover one of the most exciting
and satisfying ways to decorate cakes. You will learn to
create amazing hand shaped flowers, beautiful borders,
and bold accents using easy-to-shape icing. As you learn
each technique: an artful bow, mum, rose, carnation, calla
lily, rosebud, daisy, and embellished borders, you will be
closer to your crowning achievement. You will also learn
how to work with gum paste and fondant to create great
cakes.

Advanced Gum Paste Flowers

Course IV)
In this cake decorating course you will be working with
gum paste, floral wire, and floral tape to create an amaz-
ing array of wonderful flowers. You will learn to make
Gerbera Daisies, Sweet Peas, Briar Roses, Stargazer Lil-
ies, Stephanatis, Ivy, and Lily leaves. You will learn how to
arrange the flowers into stunning bouquets and sprays on
your cakes.

Learn to make chocolate covered cherries, filled chocolates
