Self-Guided Chicago Bus Trip

Travel with us to enjoy the sights, sounds, and holiday lighting of Chicago’s famous Michigan Avenue. Explore the city’s museums, shops and eateries. This self-guided trip allows you and your friends to enjoy the city without bothersome schedules, stressful driving and parking hassles. Trip limited to 55 individuals. No refunds after December 1 or due to weather cancellation.(Ages Youth – Adult)

Bus departs SVCC West Mall Parking lot promptly at 8:00 a.m., arriving at John Hancock Center (north side of bldg.) at 10:30 a.m. Bus departs Chicago – John Hancock Center (north side of bldg.) at 5:00 p.m. and will arrive back at SVCC at 7:30 p.m.

Exploring the Land of Enchantment – New Mexico 2018

Join us for a new adventure to the Land of Enchantment. Travel by air to and from New Mexico. Explore unique communities like Taos, New Mexico and special Native American sites, speak to local artists about their crafts, and experience the mountains and high desert country of this beautiful state.

Trip Dates (9 days): Friday, March 2 – Saturday, March 2018
Cost: Approximately $1,850 per person for shared room or $2,400 for single. Cost includes all transportation (bus, van & air), hotel accommodations, admission fees and several meals (not all).
Trip limited to 16 participants.

Inspired by Montana: An Artistic Journey 2018

Join the Sauk Valley Community College Art Department on a trip to visit the unique beauty of the Big Sky State. Our adventure will include three days of tours into Yellowstone National Park, visits to the historic mining city of Butte and the thriving artistic cultures found in both Bozeman and Missoula, Montana. On our journey, we will experience everything from majestic mountains, hot springs, geysers and wildlife to the cultural riches of museums, art galleries and a lively nightlife. 

Trip Dates (10 days): Wednesday, June 6 – Friday, June 15, 2018
Estimated costs: $1,850-$2,450. Cost includes all transportation (bus, air & van), accommodations, admission fees to parks & museums, dinner at one of Montana’s best restaurants and traditional Montana cookout.
Trip limited to 12 participants.
Deposit: $800 due by December 1, 2017
