Northwest IL Winery Trip

On this trip, we will visit Famous Fossil Vineyard & Winery to enjoy a tour, tasting of your choice of six different wines and lunch (included in cost). We will then head to Galena Cellars Vineyard & Winery for a guided tour and wine tasting of six different wines, which includes the Five “S”s of Wine Tasting Sensory Program. Trip limited to 29 individuals.No refunds after August 9.(Ages 21 & over)

Lunch at Famous Fossil is included in cost of trip and there is a gluten free option. Snack food such as cheese, sausage, crackers, cheese curds and other snack foods are available for purchase at Galena Cellars. Credit cards are accepted, but cash is recommended when purchasing items at the gift shops.

Bus departs SVCC West Mall Parking lot promptly at 9:45 a.m. arriving at Famous Fossil at approximately 10:45 a.m. We will depart Famous Fossil for Galena Cellars at 1:45 p.m. and arrive at approximately 2:45 p.m. We will depart Galena Cellars at 5:30 p.m. and arrive back at SVCC at approximately 7:15 p.m.

Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals

Cheer on your favorite team, as the Chicago Cubs take on the St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field for a 1:20 p.m. game. We will arrive in time for you to explore Wrigleyville before the game or enter the stadium to watch pre-game warm-ups. Meals will be on your own. Your trip includes transportation to and from Chicago, one game ticket in section 236, row 11-13, driver tip & snack. Fun in the Sun - Fort Myers Beach, Florida 2017

Way down in Southwest Florida, on the south end of San Carlos Bay, is Fort Myers Beach, a beautiful beach town on Estero Island. With the sugary-soft white sands that are typical of west coast beaches in Florida, Fort Myers Beach also boasts an abundance of seashells. Fort Myers Beach, and the surrounding areas and islands, are generally considered the best places to find the best shells in Florida.
Join us on a trip to a beachfront resort with a nautical theme, set against sun-drenched sands and rolling waves. We will explore local historic sites, natural parks, and tour the Everglades. Mariner’s Boathouse & Beach Resort is a 4.5 star-rated resort with beach access. The one-bedroom villas sleep 6 people, one bedroom, two baths. Master bedroom has queen size bed and a full bath; living room has a queen size sofa sleeper and bunk beds across from the seating of the full 'galley' style kitchen. All rooms have fully equipped kitchens, screened lanais, 2 TVs, DVD player, phone, ceiling fans air conditioning, balcony and wireless internet access. Amenities include a pool and a hot tub, plus gas grills, a playground and beach access.

Join us for a new adventure to the Land of Enchantment. Travel by air to and from New Mexico. Explore unique communities like Taos, New Mexico and special Native American sites, speak to local artists about their crafts, and experience the mountains and high desert country of this beautiful state.

Inspired by Montana: An Artistic Journey 2018

Join the Sauk Valley Community College Art Department on a trip to visit the unique beauty of the Big Sky State. Our adventure will include three days of tours into Yellowstone National Park, visits to the historic mining city of Butte and the thriving artistic cultures found in both Bozeman and Missoula, Montana. On our journey, we will experience everything from majestic mountains, hot springs, geysers and wildlife to the cultural riches of museums, art galleries and a lively nightlife.

Estimated costs: $1,850-$2,450. Cost includes all transportation (bus, air & van), accommodations, admission fees to parks & museums, dinner at one of Montana’s best restaurants and traditional Montana cookout.
