Purpose:

The Red Cross provides disaster assistance, both locally and nationally, provides emergency communication for members of the military and their families, holds weekly blood drives at branch office and throughout the community, provides training in CPR, First Aid, AEDs, water safety, babysitting, preparedness, and more in the community.

Remarks:

Areas: Whiteside County: Coleta, Deer Grove, Lyndon, Morrison, Prophetstown, Rock Falls, Sterling, and Tampico. Office Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday – Friday. Emergency service provided 24-hours a day. Services: Preparedness Health & Safety Services (Training in First Aid, CPR, Water Safety, AED, Babysitting, and more); Blood Services (blood drives held weekly at the office – call for details); Volunteer Services, Disaster Services (Disaster assistance Relief/Response, Recovery, & Community Preparedness); Service to the Armed Forces (emergency communications for military members & their families and more).
