Purpose:

Welcome to the Lee County Council on Aging website. We provide recreational, educational and wellness activities for seniors age 50 and older. Founded as a non-profit organization in 1974, Lee County Council on Aging provides services and programs to Lee County seniors which help them to remain independent. Our center, located in Dixon, IL, is a place where seniors can gather to meet friends for coffee, attend educational lectures or participate in fitness classes, interest clubs and games such as pool and cards.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM. Services: Outreach services, Nutritious Meals served, Circuit Breakers, Health Services, Senior Health Insurance Program, Financial Services, Veterans Affairs, Sociability and Recreation, Information & Assistance, Transportation, Tax Freeze, Tax Counseling, Assistance with Utility Bills, Education, Volunteer Opportunities, Grandparents raising grandchildren, Energy Assistance. Transportation 60 Years or older to ride for $2.00 one way trip Suggested donation.
