Our primary mission is to provide services that meet the individual needs of full and part-time faculty at SVCC as well as contribute to key strategic goals of the College. We also serve as the instructional technology resource team, supporting both faculty and staff. Online education is one of our specialties. Greg Noack, Director, Faculty/Staff Center for Innovative Teaching
As director, Greg's interests lie in learning how technology can be integrated into the classroom for learning, fostering online collaboration through learning communities, and supporting faculty. He has technology skills in multi-media creation, social media, web tools and apps, and mobile devices. With 12 years of teaching experience, he has a wealth of practical knowledge concerning classroom management, course planning and design, and content creation. Greg completed a Masters in Educational Technology from PepperdineUniversity and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Illinois State University.

Kathy Dirks, Instructional Technology Support Specialist
Kathy greets every day with a smile as she coordinates equipment checkout, provides assistance to faculty utilizing the enhanced classrooms, and cheerfully answers miscellaneous questions posed by callers to the IT Helpdesk. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University and an Associate in Science degree from SVCC.

Robin Fisch, Instructional Designer
A career educator with more than thirty years of instructional experience with youth and adult learners, Robin Fisch is an Instructional Designer at SVCC. Robin holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Western Illinois University, the Administrator of Online Learning Certificate from the Illinois Online Network, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Northern Illinois University. Her areas of specialization include distance education, multi-media, and human performance technology.

Curt Rendall, Instructional Designer
Curt brings a strong record of leveraging new technology to create dynamic learning experiences. His work as an instructional designer is informed by eight years of experience developing a collaborative and interactive approach to Spanish language instruction. He seeks to combine vision and practicality in assisting instructors to maximize student learning and engagement. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Spanish and Political Science from Knox College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Northwestern State University.
