In this spring’s alumni newsletter, you read about
the great changes made to our technology wing.
We continued our improvement efforts this summer
with the remodeling of our science labs. With their
completion at the start of the fall semester, students
are now able to experience the sciences in a beautiful,
state-of-the-art learning environment.
We also launched a new program this summer at SVCC
in fire science. Students are now able to earn an associate’s
degree and certificates for advancement in the field. You can
read more about the program and its introduction inside!
As we continue to make improvements and additions, both in facilities and
programs, to meet the needs of our students, we also continue to raise funds
for student scholarships and other academic needs. Think of your time at
SVCC and the assistance you received in scholarships, resources, support
and more. We want to make this type of assistance available to current and
future students. To do this, we are holding a large casino-style fundraiser
at SVCC. You can find more information about this night of fun and
entertainment inside.
We hope you join us at Casino Night and future events on campus. With your
