Sauk Valley Community College will offer the course “Windows” from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in Room 3K2.
Participants will learn Windows commands and shortcuts, discuss the function and organization of Windows, learn available components, the basics of managing Windows along, and customizing and management of several Windows components. Participants will also venture into multiple programs as they learn to save and retrieve data that engages folder management and organization. Computer troubleshooting and maintenance will also be explored.
Cost for the class is $85 and includes all materials.
To register, stop by Sauk’s Office of Admissions and Records, Room 1J1, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, or between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays.
For those unable to attend the January 27th session, a two-day evening session will be offered from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, March 30, and Tuesday, March 31, in Room 2F3.
