Sauk’s Annual WW II USO Dinner-Dance Coming Up April 18

Sauk Valley Community College will present its sixth annual Serenade in Blue, the College’s World War II-era USO show, from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, at the Brandywine Banquet Center, 441, IL Route 2, in Dixon.

Step back in time and enjoy SVCC's Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Gary Johnson, adjunct faculty music, and the Sauk’s Collegiate Singers, directed by Kris Murray, assistant professor of music and humanities. Serenade in Blue will include dancing, authentic era decorations, and more. Participants are encouraged to get into the spirit by dressing in 1940s-style clothing.
