Sauk Valley Community College will offer “Knitting Projects” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays October 29 through November 19, in Room 2L1A.
Participants will explore the artistic side of knitting by making a small animal, teapot cozy or other fun knitting “characters” and learn the steps to begin and complete a special project. Students should have a basic understanding of knitting and have completed simple projects prior to taking this course. Students bring: knitting needles, yarn, and patterns (if desired).
Cost for the class is $35. To register, stop by Sauk’s Office of Admissions and Records, Room 1J1, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, or between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays.
