Beat Procrastination with this One-Day Workshop on Oct. 22

October 2009

Procrastination keeps us from accomplishing what we could and should do in our lives. Sauk Valley Community College will offer the workshop “Using Motivation to Defeat Procrastination” from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday October 22, in Room 2L5.

“I’ll do it first thing tomorrow.” That’s in my five-year plan.” You probably have your own procrastination mantras. Everyone does. In this workshop, participants will learn easy techniques that really work to help break procrastination habits and form new, more productive habits by using personal motivation tricks. Handouts will be provided.

Cost for the class is $25. To register, stop by Sauk’s Office of Admissions and Records, Room 1J1, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, or between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays.
