SVCC Student Awarded the Freeport Health Network Scholarship

Sauk Valley Community College student Jackie Greve, of Dixon has been awarded the Freeport Health Network Jackie Greve Photo for WebsiteScholarship for the 2009-10 academic year. The $500 scholarship was distributed through the Sauk Valley College Foundation.

Greve, a student in Sauk’s Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program, carries a 3.66 GPA. She plans to graduate from Sauk in May with an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) and go on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) at a four-year college or university.

A 2005 graduate of Dixon High School, Jackie is the daughter of Georgia and the late Roy Armstrong of Dixon.
The Freeport Health Network is one of 80 private donors that provide scholarships to deserving Sauk students each year. These scholarships play a crucial role in helping these students pursue their educational goals.

The Sauk Foundation is a non-profit corporation that helps to broaden the educational opportunities and services that SVCC provides for its students. Each year the Foundation distributes scholarships that total more than $160,000.
