Sauk Valley Community College will offer the one-session workshop “Run Your Office, Don’t Let it Run You” from 1 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, in Room 2L6.
Participants will learn how to take control of their offices. Topics will include; How to calculate the financial costs of disorganization to your company, the top three time stealers in today’s workplace, how energy rhythms impact personal productivity, how to motivate oneself, what one needs to know before tossing out any piece of paper, how to organize receipts, paper, etc., proven filing strategies, what an indexing system is and how it can help find anything in five seconds or less.
Cost for this class is $97. Students may register in Sauk’s Office of Admissions, Room 1J1, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, or between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.
