More than 80 candidates in Sauk Valley Community College's Health Career Programs will participate in the College's annual health pinning ceremony from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 14, in SVCC's gymnasium. This prestigious ceremony is not a graduation ceremony, but signifies that the candidates have joined the ranks of the men and women in the health care field.

Candidates from Sauk’s Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN), Radiologic Technology, Paramedic programs, and the new Northern Illinois Online Initiative for Nursing (NIOIN) – Associate Degree in Nursing will be recognized. This ceremony precedes the College’s Commencement Exercises, which will be held at 7 p.m. also in the gym.
