Sauk Valley Community College will offer its popular short courses on Internet and E-mail.
The workshop “Internet” will be offered from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, in Room 3K2.
Participants will learn how to use their computer’s browser to efficiently search and organize those “hot spots” found while surfing. The class will also cover how to manage history, cookies, and their setup to keep their computer surfing experience from getting bogged down.
The workshop “Email” will be offered from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, also in Room 3K2. Participants will learn basic transmission and receipt of e-mail, attachments, address books, and more.
Cost for either class is $65. To register, stop by Sauk’s Office of Admissions, Room 1J1, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, and between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays.
