Do your dreams and passions keep showing up on your to-do list but never get crossed off? Sauk Valley Community College will present an insightful workshop “Self-Actualizing: Make Your Dreams a Reality through Goal Setting” from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 9, in Room 2L3.
Have you imagined yourself in a different career or having mastered an instrument or sport or other skill? Have you wanted to travel or have new challenges and experiences? In this workshop, participants will explore and apply goal-setting methods and tools to help them define their dreams, and outline a workable plan to help them accomplish those passions and dreams. The program will also supply plenty of motivation to help participants stay on track.
The presenter will be Debi Hill, SVCC professor of English and speech. Hill, who also has a master’s degree in therapeutic counseling, specializes in interpersonal communication, critical and creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Cost for this workshop is $25.
