If you are an SVCC student that will soon be completing a degree at SVCC, then you will want to consider making your capstone advising appointment.
The counselors at Sauk recommended that you take some time in the next three weeks to contact the counseling office to make the appointment. At this appointment your advisor/counselor can initiate a degree audit to determine what classes are needed to graduate. It is also a good time to discuss the necessary steps to take to prepare for graduation.
Are you considering transfer to a 4-year college or university? Have you begun the application process? Have you considered potential scholarships? Now is the time to begin making those decisions and your advisor/counselor can help you with the transfer process.
Are you going into a career after graduation? Your advisor/counselor also has information on the various services for students through the Career Services office. This office is dedicated to assisting students and the community with resume writing, interviewing skills, and job search assistance. The Career Services office is located in 1K11 which is in the East Mall next to the Bookstore.
