Honor Our Veterans Event Raffle Today-Military Vehicles Cancelled

Sauk Valley Community College’s Student Veterans Organization invites the public out to the SVCC campus Monday, November 12 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to participate in a free “Honoring our Veterans” event.

Military vehicles will not make a stop on the SVCC campus because of the weather condition. SVO will still hold a raffle (see information below) and veteran services will still be available from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Student Veterans Organization will have raffle tickets available from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with the drawing at 12:30p.m. Four prize packages will be given away to lucky winners with the grand prize including an Ematic 10 “Touch Screen Internet Tablet. All proceeds will go toward the Veterans Memorial Park in Dixon.
