Sauk Valley Community College will host the 29th annual Child Fair “A World of Wonder” on Saturday, April 13 at SVCC. Booths will be open 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and a performance of the children’s play “Alice in Wonderland” begins at noon in the gym.
The fair will also feature over 40 exhibitors who will have hands-on activities, games or giveaways for participants. Children and families can visit the bouncy houses, emergency vehicles display and U of I Extension’s farm fun petting zoo. There will also be two new activities featured this year including KSB Hospital’s Baby Palooza Pavilion where new activities and programs will be offered every hour and CGH Medical Center’s “Love on a Leash” therapy dogs!
Each year, Child Fair attracts more than 2,000 participants. The event helps improves child health status and family well-being through increased community awareness.
