Be ready to laugh out loud at our spring production of Philip King’s British comedy See How They Run on April 26-27 and May 3-4 at 7:00 p.m. April 28 and May 5 at 2:00 p.m. in Mathis Theatre.
The show’s title is taken from a line from the nursery rhyme, Three Blind Mice, which exemplifies the mayhem in this 3-act farce. See How They Run is known for its tense comic situations and headlong humor, heavily playing on mistaken identities, doors, and vicars. Pandemonium ensues as the fallacious stories of four men impersonating vicars, an ex-actress, a star-stuck maid, a tea-totaling spinster and a sedated Bishop unfold and their secrets are revealed.
“With British accents, chase sequences, and comedic timing, this show has provided many exciting challenges,” stated Anna K. Kurtz, SVCC theatre director. “The students have definitely embraced the playful and creative spirit needed to perform this show. Their zeal will be palpable from the audience and will make for a laugh out loud, energized, and simply fun production.”
See How They Run talented student cast includes Peter Balser, Loni Bright, Rachel Wirsing, Ben Thornton, Matt Hughes, Stephanie Moore, Manuel Cervantes, and Alejandro Valdes Stage manager for the show is Holly Vrhel.
