Well Look at That! SVCC Theatre Will Present Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat

Sauk Valley Community College’s Theatre Department invites you to have a “seussational” time as it presents Dr. Seuss’ “The Cat in the Hat”Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2 at 1 p.m. in Mathis Theatre

From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that The Cat in the Hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and craziest of ideas, he is certainly fun to play with as he turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure. This classic tale comes to life for all ages as the audience is transported into the world they’ve always imagined-tricks, rhythms and all included.

This production includes the onstage talents of Zack Lawson and Ali Settles of Dixon, Jose Manuel Cervantes of Rock Falls, Alli Wolber of Sterling, Miranda Blakenbehler of Polo, Michael Farringer of Lee Center, Mavrik McMeekan of Oregon, Madeline Kull of Morrison and Loni Bright of Eldena.
