Skyhawk Volleyball Going to Nationals

Skyhawk Volleyball to Compete in NJCAA National Championships for 4th Straight Year! 

2017 NJCAA DII Volleyball Championship - #5 Sauk Valley vs. #12 Northeast

Skyhawk Volleyball competed in the Region IV Volleyball Tournament on November 4 at the College of Lake County in Grayslake. The lady Skyhawks posted two straight set wins to advance to the national tournament for the 4th straight season.

In the first match of the day, the Skyhawks beat Illinois Valley by scores of 25-9, 25-11 and 25-21.

In the District A Championship match, the Skyhawks defeated Wabounsee by scores of 25-17, 25-13 and 25-12.

Sauk had four players named to the all-tournament team: Bailey O'Brien, Sommer Rhea, Hannah Peterson and Kacey Koch. The Skyhawks are now 32-8, and will play in the NJCAA National Championships in Charleston, WV on November 16, 17 and 18.
