From SVCC to Harvard March 19

SVCC Alumnus and Harvard Graduate Roberto Carmona to speak March 19

The Association of Latin-American Students at SVCC proudly present Roberto Carmona’s presentation, “From SVCC to Harvard” on Monday, March 19 at 12:30 pm in 1K4. This event is free and open to the public.

Roberto is a nationally recognized consultant who provides business development, client management, executive recruitment services, and executive coaching for Fortune 500 companies, national organizations, such as the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the U.S. Department of Labor, local governments, hospitals, and colleges and universities.

Carmona received a fellowship and completed a Master’s in Public Administration at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He earned a Master’s in political science from Northeastern Illinois University, a Bachelor’s from Northern Illinois University, and an Associate of Arts degree from Sauk Valley Community College.

He was honored as the 1995 Outstanding Alumni at SVCC and inducted into the Sterling High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame in 2010.
