This program will provide the student with skills to perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, apartments and homes.
Work and Employment
General maintenance mechanics often do a variety of tasks in a single day, generally at a number of different locations in a building, or in several buildings. They inspect and diagnose problems and plan how work will be done, often checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs. Typical duties include replacing faulty electrical switches, repairing air conditioning motors, and installing water lines.
