The refrigeration curriculum prepares technicians to design, layout, install, repair and maintain commercial and domestic refrigeration units, and related environmental units.
Work and Employment
Air conditioning and ventilation mechanics install and service central air conditioning and ventilation systems. They follow design specifications and installation instructions to install motors, compressors, condensing units, evaporators and other components. This equipment is connected to duct work, refrigerant lines and power sources.
