4-Week OAS Classes
Individualized methods of instruction are used. Students are required to attend the first week to get syllabus, and attend the OAS Lab one hour a week throughout the semester. Attendance may be at any time the lab is open. Fall semester, lab hours are Mondays 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Tuesdays 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and Wednesdays 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Spring semester, lab hours are Mondays 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Tuesdays 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., and Wednesdays 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Summer Semester, lab hours are Tuesday-Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Students may enroll for courses at any time during the semester or within one week after registering for the course - at this time the instructor will approve the student's individualized program.
Students should set aside two hours per week for each credit hour enrolled. Veterans and financial aid recipients must be in attendance a minimum of two hours per week per credit hour enrolled.
Each class is divided into separate course numbers and by levels which make up the full course. Students interested in the one-credit courses should contact an OAS faculty advisor or counselor prior to registering. Students may complete more than one course. Contact personnel at Room 3K2, extension 202 for further information.
