Skyhawk Men's Tennis Coach
Head Coach Sara Kipping
Coach Sara Kipping begins her fifth year as coach of the Skyhawk men's tennis program. Kipping, in five short years, has built a solid men's program, and built an outstanding women's tennis program in her 10 years coaching at Sauk.
As men's coach, Kipping saw three former players, Charlie Fischbach, Jeff Spitzer, and Matt Kipping named to the Arrowhead Academic All-Conference Team last year. Kipping also received the Region IV Coach of the Year Award two consecutive seasons in 2002 and 2003.
A Sauk graduate and former tennis player herself, Kipping knows the dedication needed to compete in a sport and to excel academically. In both men's and women's programs, she emphasizes the enjoyment of playing competitively and maintaining a good attitude.
Kipping graduated from Sauk with an Associate in Science with an emphasis on education. As a player, she placed second at regional competition and was a member of Sauk's 1983 national qualifying team.
