April 2025 Election Information
SAUK VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

BOARD OF TRUSTEES ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that nominating petitions for membership on the Board of Trustees of Sauk Valley Community College, District #506, Lee, Ogle, Henry, Bureau, Whiteside and Carroll Counties for the consolidated election to be held on April 1, 2025 may be picked up at the College during regular office hours (Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. AND Friday from 8 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.) from the Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Peggy Eshleman, on and after August 20, 2024. Packets may also be distributed virtually by emailing Peggy Eshleman at peggy.eshleman@svcc.edu.
Two candidates are to be elected for full six-year terms; and
One candidate is to be elected for a two-year unexpired term.
These petitions may be filed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday, with Peggy Eshleman, on the third floor of the college (Room 3L8). The dates and times for filing these petitions are as follows:

Persons elected on April 1, 2025, will be seated at the new Board’s organizational
meeting in April of 2025.
