  • Focusing Families on the Future - Sophomore Visit

    This is an event held for high school sophomores and their parents. During this evening we provide information on career planning, college preparation, dual credit options and general college information. We will also provide information on the upcoming annual College Night which will be held on November 5th.

  • Personalized Campus Visit

    We would be happy to arrange a Personalized Campus Visit for you!

    During your visit you can:

    • Talk to Admissions Staff about general information about Sauk
    • Visit with a Counselor to discuss academic specific questions
    • Go on a Campus Tour
    • Meet with a professor or faculty in your department of interest
    • Meet with an athletic coach

  • Discover Sauk! - Junior/Senior Visit

    Discover Sauk! is a campus visit program designed to give you information about Sauk Valley Community College. It is an event primarily for incoming first-year students, but anyone is welcome. During your visit you will learn more about programs of study, financial aid, SVCC clubs  and organizations, go on a campus tour, and hear from our current students.

  • College Night

    More than 80 different representatives from colleges, universities, vocational-technical schools, and the military will be on hand to answer questions about their institutions and programs. This is one of the best opportunities of the year to learn more about specific institutions all at once.

    College Night will also feature a free Financial Aid Workshop at from 5-6 p.m. in room 1K4. The Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) and financial aid opportunities for all prospective and returning students will be discussed.

    The largest gathering of its kind in the area, College Night is sponsored by Sauk Valley Community College and area high schools. For more information, call SVCC’s Office of Recruitment at 815-835-6266.
