2025-26 Skyhawks Men's Basketball
The 2025-26 Skyhawks Men’s Basketball team looks to rebound from a first round exit in the Region Tournament. Lead by two returning starters (#2) JP Schilling and (#14) Ed Wiggins. Both of which had tremendous Freshman Seasons. The Skyhawks have many newcomers on this year’s team. A couple of transfers that look to make their mark right away, (#4) Carlos Perez, a transfer from Genesee CC. Carlos is a tremendous scoring combo guard. A transfer from Johnson County CC (#12) PJ Young. PJ is a strong and physical wing that can hit shots and score off the bounce. Both guards add some experience to an otherwise young roster. Skyhawks also added two transfers to help their front court. (#22) Nate Firle a transfer from Jamestown University and (#21) Mal Both a transfer from North Dakota Bottineau CC. Nate is a skilled big with great touch around the rim and out on the perimeter. Mal looks forward to a breakout year with his length and athleticism; he can affect the game in many ways.
The Skyhawks also add an incredibly talented Freshman class that will be looking to make their college debut this season. Three front court players come to the Skyhawks from Minnesota. (#5) Jermaine Jones a 6’8 skilled lefty big man that can play inside and out. (#10) Joseph Deng Lueth a 6’11 beast on the inside, that has shown the potential to play at a high level. (#13) Angok Kucha is a 6’8 wing that can hit shots and has a great pull-up mid range game. Another newcomer for the Skyhawks is (#0) Boots Perkins. Boots is a lightning quick PG with the ability to pass and score at a high level. Joining him in the back court are two Florida guards, (#11) Siah Blot and (#3) Quay Andrews. Siah is a tremendous shooter/scorer, but also sneaky athletic. Quay is a 6’5 Guard that can hit shots and dunk on the best of them. With their ability to shoot it and attack the rim, look for these two freshmen to make an enormous impact. Last but not least joining this year's squad is Rock Falls Alum, Kuitim Heald. Kuitim is a 6’3 lights out shooter with a tremendous feel and knowledge of the game. Don’t be surprised if he makes a tremendous impact as a freshman.
Overall, this years Skyhawk team although young, is incredibly talented. They will look to use their size, athleticism, and shooting ability to separate themselves in region 4 and make a run at the National Tournament.
