2026-27 Skyhawk Men's Track & Field
The Sauk Valley Track and Field teams begin their 8th season since returning to the
college. The Sauk Valley men’s squad also returns multiple leaders from last year’s
squad. Zach Milder and Patrick Zinke return to compete in the sprints. We also have
Cristian Hernandez returning in the jumps. Shea Grennan returns as well in the throws.
We have some very strong freshmen we are adding as well. Logan Grett, Morgan Mahnesmith,
Adan Oquendo, Andrew Osborn, and Adam Staples look to add to the sprint squad this
season. Bennet Mickelson will bring his talents to the jumps. Ziggy Coon, Adrian Gallardo,
and Byron Grobe look to add to the middle distance and distance events. Gus Anderson
will compete in the throws.
Head Coach Nick Hartz gives his thoughts on the team. "The team has a lot of
excitement about it this year, and the mix of returning athletes and freshmen have
given us good reason to be excited. I know all of the coaches are enthusiastic with
the growth and progress we have seen so far, and it will be great to get that first
glimpse of what they can accomplish this season."
