Fall 2026 Team Outlook
Sauk Valley has two returning players from our National Qualifying team last year. Grace Ferguson, a graduate of Dixon H.S., played #1 singles and was the Champion Runner-Up. Addison Arjes played #2 singles and was the Region Champion. The ladies played #1 doubles together and were Champion Runner-Up and National Qualifiers. They also helped lead the team to the NJCAA National Tournament last year, where Grace and Addison both advanced to the semifinals. They are truly talented tennis players who bring great skill, experience, and sportsmanship to our team.
New players Kylie Goldblatt from Mendota and Alexis Kemmeren from Dixon will be playing #3 and #4 singles and #2 doubles for Sauk Valley. They both played tennis in high school and have the skills needed to compete at the collegiate level.
New players to tennis and our team are Gracelyn Abell and Chloe Stock from Prophetstown. They are athletes trying a new sport and have been working hard and improving throughout the preseason. They will be playing #5 and #6 singles and #3 doubles.
Sauk Valley has a very competitive region, and we are working hard as a team to sharpen our skills and continue improving. Our goal is to place in the top two teams at regionals, qualify for the NJCAA National Tournament, and make another strong run in Texas in May.
