Skyhawk Women's Tennis
Fall 2025 Team Outlook
The Skyhawk tennis team has three returning players from last year’s team. They are Julia Rhodes, Laurel Chavera from Newman and Katie Kammerer from Princeton. All these ladies have the experience and dedication to help the new ladies reach their full potential.
I am excited that Sauk will have five new players this year. The new players are Grace Ferguson, Addison Arjes and Arielle Tefiku from Dixon who played on varsity and are all outstanding tennis players. They will be playing in the top position on this year’s team. Kaitlyn Conderman from Newman who played on varsity and is a excellent player. Lastly, we have Sydney Schwartz from Prophetstown who is an all-around athlete and will be trying tennis. These ladies have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to compete at the collegiate level.
This season our goal is to be in the top three teams at Regionals to qualify for Nationals again. Our region is very competitive, and we will have to be playing our best tennis all season to reach our goal. These ladies will be working hard to reach this goal.
The women’s team has qualified for the NJCAA National Championship 6 years in a row. We just missed last year and will be trying hard to get back to the Nationals this year.
