Dixon Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian ministry whose purpose is to provide simple, decent homes for families in need. Since the early 1970’s Habitat for Humanity, through its many local, affiliated Habitat organizations, has built homes in the United States and internationally for millions of families. These homes are not gifts, but are sold to families on NO interest mortgage loans at a NO profit price, making the homes affordable for families who could never otherwise be able to afford it. The families must also put in many hours of “sweat equity” working on construction along side our volunteers. We are always looking for new volunteers to help build homes in the Dixon area.
