Purpose:
Our behavioral health team promotes positive social and emotional health, in adults and children, contribuiting to a healthy, balanced and productive life.
Remarks:
The Whiteside County Community Health Clinic uses a holistic team approach which includes overall wellness. Our team includes: primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, licensed clinical therapists and psychiatric consultation. We provide a licensed therapist to screen, assess and treat a wide range of mental health issues affection children and adults. These issues include: ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, family problems, and school or work issues. Appointments are available from 8:00AM-4:30PM, Mon/Wed/Fri and Tue/Thur from 9:00AM-5:30PM. Quarterly, we provide court ordered parenting class called "Children in Between" It is designed to help parents identify ways to help children of various ages cope with divorce. Call 815-626-2230 to get more information. You must pre-pay and sign up in advance for this class. Our staff provides referrals to other specialists for people with substance abuse, eating disorders and couple's counseling needs.
