  2. Within the app, search for "Sauk Valley Community College"
  3. Use your student or faculty/staff email and password to log in
  • Clipboard on Blue Icon Make appointments and view drop in options for Academic Advising, Financial Assistance, Admissions, and Records,  and TRiO
  • Person on Purple Icon Schedule appointments and view drop in options for LC Tutoring, The Writing Center, The LC Library, and more!
  • Graduation Cap on Teal Icon Students can request direct assistance and faculty/staff can refer students to a variety of resources.

Access to Student Services, Student Success Resources, and Retention Tools

SkyhawkNav allows students to make appointments and/or view drop in availability with a variety of Student Services departments and Academic Support Resources all in one place. Students may schedule appointments and view drop in times for Academic Advising, Financial Assistance, Admissions & Records, TRiO, The LC Tutoring Center, The LC Writing Center, Library Assistance, and more!

Faculty and staff may use SkyhawkNav to refer students to resources and to alert Student Services and Academic Support Services when a student is in need of additional support. 

Study Buddies

Study Buddies facilitates connections among students in the same classes who want to study together or form study groups outside of class.

Upon opening Study Buddies, students view a list of their currently enrolled classes. They can then choose to opt in for Study Buddies on a class-by-class basis and communicate with other students who have also opted in. Students have the flexibility to use Study Buddies throughout the term and can leave a group whenever they choose. This is an optional tool.

Student Support

Hand Raise allows students to seek support by "raising their hand" for issues they may encounter throughout the semester. Students can submit a Hand Raise for advising, tutoring, research assistance, and more. After submitting the Hand Raise, students will receive an email with additional resources and a follow-up from a staff member.

If you have been issued a student ID number but do not remember it, please visit SVCC Login Services and click the "Look up Sauk ID" option to retrieve your ID number. If you are a new student who has not yet been issued a student ID number, please contact the SVCC Admissions & Records office at 815-835-6273
