As our adult education students are completing their educational goals, our program staff will help them transition to start college classes or seek employment. To assist students in this process, our ICAP Coordinator will meet with students to discuss goal completion, explore possible careers, and walk through the steps to enroll in college.
The Bridge Program provides students with the opportunity to improve reading, writing, and math skills, as well as learn skills needed to transition into specific training programs or employment. Bridge classes will be offered to students in the areas of healthcare, welding, and the transition to college. While in the bridge program, students will explore the tasks required for the career, develop the study and learning skills needed to be successful, and become more familiar with the college and the services provided.
Bridge classes are for those who are 17 years or older. Students may not be enrolled in high school, nor have previously earned their U.S. High School Equivalency certificate.
What is the cost to attend bridge classes?
Classes are FREE for qualified students.
