Disability Support Services provides coordination of services for students with disabilities in their educational and career pursuits while attending SVCC. The Director acts as a liaison with faculty, staff and referral agencies to support the student's academic goals. In order to receive academic accommodations, students must meet with the Director each semester.
Students requesting accommodations for documented disabilities are encouraged to contact Disability Support Services early in their enrollment planning. Accommodations are not retroactive. Eligibility and registration for accommodations is independent from registration for classes.
