Loan Counseling Requirements

Direct Loan Counseling is required by Federal Law for all Direct Loan borrowers.  If you are processing a loan at SVCC, you must contact the Office of Financial Assistance to schedule an appointment to complete Direct Loan Counseling. Your request for a Direct Loan will be processed once your Direct Loan Counseling requirement has been met.

Entrance Loan Counseling is a yearly requirement.
