- Navigate to SOAR
- Click on "Login to Your Records"
- Login to SOAR
- Click on "Student Services (including Financial Aid)" link
- Click on "Registration"
- Click on "Select Term"
- Select Term
- Click on "Register of Drop Classes"
- Review Registration Status
- Prepare for Registration
- Click "Return to Menu" button.
- Click "Look-up Classes"
- Select the Term and click the Submit button
- Search for Sections

Step 1: Navigate to SOARNavigate to soar.svcc.edu. From the Sauk website, you can select SOAR from the Quick Jump menu and click the Go button.
Step 2: Click on "Login to Your Records"
Step 3: Login to SOAR
Enter your SVCC User ID (include the @ symbol). Enter the PIN you created. Click Login button.
If you can’t remember your SVCC ID number, click Look up my ID (you will need your SSN to complete)
If you can’t remember the PIN you created, click Forgot PIN. You will answer your security question to reset the pin. It is NOT your Moodle or E-mail PIN.
Step 4: Click on "Student Services (including Financial Aid)" link
Step 5: Click on "Registration"
Step 6: Click on "Select Term"
Step 7: Select Term
Select appropriate term from the drop box and click the Submit button.
Step 8: Click on "Register of Drop Classes"
Step 9: Review Registration Status
If you see the message, "Registration is not allowed at this time," (first picture) you will be able to register the first day of class without any additional PIN.
If you see the message "Please enter your Registration PIN to access registration," (second picture) you will need to contact the counseling office to approve your class schedule and receive an alternate (registration) PIN.
Step 10: Prepare for Registration
Using your academic plan write down all of the CRN numbers for all courses you wish to enroll in for the upcoming semester. You can also use a registration form available in the Office of Admissions and Records.
Step 11: Click "Return to Menu" button.
Now that you know you status you should explore the course offerings for the upcoming semester and PLAN your schedule . CLICK on the return to menu button
Step 12: Click "Look-up Classes"
Step 13: Select the Term and click the Submit button
Step 14: Search for Sections
Note the CRN (Course Reference Number) of the Course . This is a five digit sequence starting with the number 6 for spring semester, 3 for fall semester, or 1 for summer semester. Currently Registration is not available (NR). During registration the course will have a square box under the Select column.
