Sustainable Technologies* (*Pending ICCB Approval) - Certificate (E70)

(E70) Certificate

This program is geared for the individual who wants to obtain skills and be able to enter a career in Sustainable Technologies. This program provides entry-level skills in a variety of sustainable technologies.

Work and Employment

This program prepares students to enter the work force as green technology installers and entry level technicians. They will have knowledge in green energy, electrical, and control components and acquire troubleshooting skills on those components. Students completing this program may pursue certification in their field or continue in the Sustainable Technologies A.A.S. program. During the initial semester of enrollment in the program, students will be required to provide proof of successful completion of or pass the National Career Readiness Certificate (WorkKeys) exam. Those student who do not have proof of successful completion at the end of the first semester will be required to take the Certified Manufacturing Assistant course (IND 101) during the next semester.
