Emily Zimmerman began as an adjunct instructor in 2014 teaching evening accounting courses. At that time, she was working as a full-time senior accountant at a local manufacturer. By the fall of 2019, she left accounting and began a career in higher education teaching various business courses and facilitating the East CEO Program. She is a co-advisor for the Honors Program and Business Club.

Mr. Geoffrey Lemay is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for Illinois. This is the beginning of my fourth year of teaching (all at SVCC).

5 Years of Service at SVCC
Dr. Devereueawax began teaching Economics and several Business courses at SVCC in 2019. Prior to that, he taught at Western Illinois University in the Economics and Decision Sciences Department. Dr. Devereueawax is also the co-advisor for both Phi Theta Kappa honors society and the Business Club here on campus. He loves everything about economics and enjoys conversations about entrepreneurship (so don’t hesitate to ask any questions pertaining to either).
