Equipment

Our energized laboratory is used for courses required for first-year students in our program.  

Students in this class take actual exposures on phantom body parts. Manipulations in exposure techniques, positioning, and variation in the position of our equipment are performed to demonstrate the effects that are made on the finished radiograph. The resulting images are discussed and experiment worksheets are completed by the student after analyzing each image. 

We have recently upgraded our equipment and have direct digital radiography room in addition to a computed radiography room. This is the newest technology in the field of radiography. The students have hands-on experience with this equipment before and during their clinical internship experience.
