The Sauk Valley went 3-1 this weekend as the Skyhawks played well without one of their leaders, as Tressa Schuler sat out with a sprained ankle. 

The Skyhawks bounced back on Saturday from their loss at Augustana going 3-0 at the St. Ambrose Invite.

In their first match the Skyhawks defeated Clarke UN. JV 23-25, 32-30, 25-14, and 25-13.

In match 2 the Skyhawks defeated Olivet Nazarene JV 25-11, 19-25, 25-12, 25-13.

In their final match of the weekend Sauk Valley defeated Black Hawk 25-12, 25-19, 25-20.

On Saturday the Skyhawks were led by Hannah Peterson with 30 kills, Tori Smoode with 21 kills, Erin Greene with 12 kill blocks, Samantha Soddy with 60 assist, and Chelsi Blair with 48 digs.

The Skyhawks RETURN HOME on Tuesday (9/27) and take on conference rival Highland starting at 6:00pm.
