    The Skyhawks struggled from the field for most of the night, but used their defense and rebounding to lock down the 70-66 road victory for their 6th win in their last eight games. The Skyhawk defense gave up only 6 offensive rebound for the game and held the Tigers to 37.7% shooting from the field in the hard fought road win.  Leading the way for the Skyhawks was Jaden Clarke with 15 pts. and 8 rebounds to lead Sauk Valley in both categories.  Also in double figures was Jake Gaither with 14 pts., while Kabine Kaba and Zayin Humber each had 9 pts. for the Skyhawks.  The Skyhawks next game is Saturday (Feb. 3) when they take on Region IV Div. 1 rival Kankakee at 3:00.  Go Skyhawks!
