SAUK VALLEY defeats nationally ranked Southeastern Iowa 77-72

 The Skyhawks used a strong first half to build a 46-32 lead at the half , then held off the NJCAA Div. 1 12th ranked Southeastern Blackhawks for the 77-72 victory. 

 Sauk Valley (3-0) was led by point guard Sean Burress with 27 pts.  Also in double figures were center Kabine Kaba with 15 pts. and guard LA Fayne with 12 pts.

Sophomore wing Jake Gaither (Dixon) had a strong all around game leading the Skyhawks with 8 rebounds and 7 assists. 

 The Skyhawks (3-0) will travel to Truman on Saturday (Nov. 18) before returning home on Tuesday (Nov 21) to take on Daley.  Both games are Region IV Div.1 matchups.
