09-07-2018 Spartan Classic
The Sauk Valley Community College Skyhawks traveled to Oakhurst Forest Preserve for the Aurora University Spartan Classic. There were over 20 teams at the meet, and the runners did a great job.
The women ran a 6k race and were led by Haley Weidner in her 27th place finish in a time 24:35. She was followed by Mekenzie Harden in 60th (25:33.3); Nataleigh Nugent in 88th (26:17.9); Mayra Nava-Moyotl in 96th (26:35.4); Maegan McCue in 108th (27:07.8); and Katy Anderson in 152nd (29:38.7). The girls finished in 11th place out of 22 teams.
