 2022 Team Outlook

The new look Skyhawk Men’s Golf team looks to be competitive in the Arrowhead conference and the Region IV field. Lead by the only returning Sophomore, Dawson Haggard, the seven-freshman entering the program are finding their mettle when it comes to collegiate golf.

 Coach C.J. Wade states: “The incoming freshman are full of talent and they all work hard to improve their games.” 

 Del Diepholz, one of the key freshman recruits, was voted a team captain along with Haggard. Smith, Dykstra, Lovgren, and Brockman will consistently battle for a top 5 position on the team along with Cole Kuster. 

 Wade says “This is team from top to bottom is really deep. Anybody from the top 7 players have the ability to break 80 on any given day.  Limiting the mistakes, and big numbers on a few holes will determine how far this team will go.” 

 The Skyhawks start their season at Park Hills in Freeport for the Highland 36 on Friday, August 26.
